There’s much to look forward to with summer approaching. For dog lovers, it anticipates a beautiful time of year to enjoy nature with your best friend. Flowers are in bloom, wildlife is abundant, and trees cover the countryside in rich green. Here at The Roost, we not only welcome dogs but want to make their holiday special too. Upon their arrival, they can hop into their handmade truckle bed complete with blankets, towels, a spare lead and all your doggy essentials (including treats, of course).
The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, areas of ancient woodland, offer hundreds of miles of stunning forest walks and places to explore. Better still, you only have to step out of your cabin to be a sticks throw away from the surrounding woods. So, it’s the perfect opportunity to grab the lead and head off with your furry friend by your side. Whether it’s a walk, pub dinner or even a brewery, there’s always an invite for your four-legged pal.
